Get ready, Hamburg! Queer collectives House of Brownies, Meow Mondayz, and FEMMEtastic unite to create an unstoppable force… and they’re bringing the heat with BATEKOO! A Brazilian party by and for #BIPOC and #LGBTQ+ communities with their #allies. Empowering and creating safe*r spaces.
Both countries facing rising right-wing politics, homophobia, and hate crimes. BATEKOO stands as a powerful counter-cultural movement. Last year, they threw 96 parties across Brazil, attracting over 300,000 people with Afro-centric music from Baile Funk to Hip Hop.
